The Dutch Mill Restaurant, Dewey Avenue. Founded in 1929 by Leon Cox, it was originally a roadside hotdog stand. Mr. Cox was also the founder of the Barnard Fire Department.
Greece School Buses and Drivers
George Clarke and Tom Richardson. Mr. Clarke (shown on the right) was the first Greece School District bus driver. Prior to this, school buses were typically modified wagons, carriages or trucks.
Barnard Fire Department on Dewey Avenue
Barnard Fire Department and truck located at 3084 Dewey Avenue since 1928. The Barnard district was named after the Dewey Avenue railroad crossing which intersected with the property of Mrs. Thomas Barnard. George H. Clark donated the land and John F. Strobel designed the building.
