Fetzner Garage and the Fall's Hotel on West Ridge Road, 1960's. Fetzner Garage was established in the late 1910's by Ray Fetzner. When Greece Towne Mall was built in the 1960's, his son John Fetzner move Fetzner Collision to Dewey Avenue. By 1992, his son James and eight of his siblings and other relatives continued the family legacy of automotive service in the area; which continues to this day. Fall's Hotel was established in the 1860's by William Fall, a Baptist minister, and housed a post office at one time and served as a stopover for stagecoaches for trips along Ridge Road between Rochester and north Greece. It went through multiple owners and name changes over the subsequent years' including the Buckert Hotel, in the 1960's and finally Richard's. In 2026, this area is currently in the space occupied by Sherwin Williams and McDonald's on West Ridge Road.
